laser rejuvenation of loose vagina syndrom

What is a loose vagina syndrom?

We are talking about the loose vagina syndrom, when a woman is experiencing sexuality with her partner less intensely, because of her loose vagina.

Causes for a loose vagina

A loose vagina syndrom can be a consequence of a various effects on the wall of the vagina. The most common reasons for a loose vagina are: excessive stretching of the vagina at birth, congenital weakness of tissue and aging.

The possibility of treatment of a loose vagina

So far, non-invasive procedures did not produce serious results. The operative procedure for a loose vagina syndrom is treating vagina with a front and back vaginal plastics. Several postoperative problems had been shown and patients were not satisfied with the result. This procedure is not covered by the insurance.

NEW - Laser procedure!

The most recent and very successful method of treating loose vagina syndrom is the use of laser technology. Preliminary clinical surveys suggest that the method is effective, simple, and above all, safe.
We use Fotonin laser ErYAG with a wavelength of 2940 nm. This wavelength with photothermal effect affects the collagen fibres, which are around the vagina, urethra and the endopelvic fascia. It causes collagen transformation, redistribution and the regrowth in a collagen tissue. This transforms the tissue around the entrance to the vagina becomes narrower.

With gynecological examination we evaluate the static of your pelvic floor, identify the loose vagina syndrom and evaluate the level of stress urinary incontinence (SUI). In case of significant slip of the uterus or vagine, we do not recommend this procedure.

The procedure can not be interfered by the inserted cervix, nor hormonal contraception, hormone replacement therapy or pre-sterilization. The procedure is not performed during menstruation.

A treatment is done on a gynecological chair and it only takes for about 10 minutes. we spray the vaginal entrance with a local anesthetic to make sure you do not feel any pain in the entire process. To protect the eyes from the laser light, you have to wear a protective glasses throughout the procedure. At the beginning of the procedure, a gynecologist inserts a special 360° laser probe and illuminates the inside with short laser pulses. Then the gynecologist removes the laser probe and it illuminates the entrance to the vagina. This part of the procedure is particularly demanding and crucial for improving the quality of sexual intercourses. This is how the procedure ends.

After the procedure

  • The patient can go home immediately after the procedure and return to their daily chores.
  • The vagina is minimally sensitive after the procedure.
  • Sometimes vaginal discharge occurs in first three days.
  • Sexual relationships and swimming in the pool are not recommended for 1 week.
